Duffys Equestrian

For 3 generations, the Duffys have been involved with horses and active members in the SJI, the Irish Showjumping Association. From breeding, to bringing on young horses to Grand Prix level, the Duffys have experience at every stage. The top yard was the original yard and has been extended over the years. The bottom yard is part of the indoor and home to our DIY liveries. There is an indoor school, a gallery and cafe area, ringside cafe, a small and large sand arena, grass arena and several paddocks which the liveries can use too. The yard is home to the Corrib Riding Club and John Hawkshaw's Tackup shop. Duffys run shows all year round and the majority are SJI affiliated. There are weekly leagues from the Spring show which usually starts the March, Summer league from May, Autumn league from Sept and then the Winter league is the only unaffiliated show in the year. The August bank holiday weekend sees the Grand Prix show with 2 days of jumping with the best the West has to offer. There are also amateur, riding club and agricultural shows too throughout the year.
