Cloncaw Equestrian Glaslough

Cloncaw Equestrian  Glaslough was established in April 2004 by John and Geraldine Bellew who owned and managed Greystones Equestrian Centre on The Castle Leslie Estate for 21 years. Located adjacent to the picturesque village of Glaslough set on the undulating farmland offering lessons coaching in all disciplines with a variety of clinics and training.  The venue holds un-affiliated show jumping  competitions, the popular Premier Saddlery 2 Phase Event League and has hosted Glaslough Horse Trials since 2016.

Purpose Built 2004 facilities inclue

  • Indoor Arena 48mX 22m sand and rubber floor.
  • Outdoor Arena 65m X 22m adjacent to indoor arena.
  • Grass show jumping arena full set show jumps.
  • Cross Country course on 85acres of rolling countryside fences to suit all levels of riders from minimus to Novice horse trials. Course available for schooling and hire.
  • Stables. Purpose built stable block adjacent to indoor arena.

Geraldine Bellew BHSII qualified instructor, HSI Level 1 coach.

With over 40 years experience Geraldine Bellew BHSII now concentrates on coaching riders with their own horse or pony in all disciplines with a variety of clinics and training throughout the year as well as teaching on school horses with the emphasis on positive communication between rider and horse
