Showjumping & XC Training Event

OUR SHOW JUMPING ARENAS AND EVENT COURSE ARE SET UP AND READY WITH A VARIETY OF INVITING FENCES FOR THE FOLLOWING CLASSES:

  • INTRO               80-90cms
  • PRE NOVICE   90cms -1M
  • NOVICE           1M-1.10M

FOLKS: ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST STRICTLY ADHERE TO THE COVID-19 GUIDELINES, MAINTAIN SOCIAL DISTANCING OF 2M AND COMPLY WITH THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:

HOW TO ENTER: 

  • ONLINE ENTRIES ONLY – VIA ITS PLAIN SAILING – PLS FOLLOW THIS LINK https://www.itsplainsailing.com/club/ballinamona
  • ENTRY FEE €45 
  • ENTRIES CLOSE FRIDAY 19th JUNE @ 4PM. PLS NOTE – NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED.
  • RESULTS: THERE WILL BE NO SCORING OR RESULTS ON THE DAY.
  • BACK PROTECTORS ARE COMPULSORY. 

PLS NOTE: 

  • ONLY ONE RIDER AND ONE GROOM PER HORSE WILL BE ALLOWED ACCESS TO THE PREMISES 
  • BOTH RIDER’S AND GROOM’S NAME AND MOBILE NUMBERS – MUST BE DECLARED (FOR CONTACT TRACEABILITY)
  • STRICTLY NO SPECTATORS, NO CHILDREN AND NO DOGS.

RUNNING ORDER: 

  • PARTICIPANTS WILL START WITH SJ AND PROCEED IMMEDIATELY AFTERWORDS TO THE XC COURSE.
  • SJ TIMES WILL BE ALLOCATED ALONG WITH A COMPETITOR NUMBER. TIMES WILL BE STRICTLY ADHERED TO. (NO EXCEPTIONS).
  • PRINT / DISPLAY YOUR OWN BIB NUMBER:  IT IS UP TO YOU TO PRINT AND DISPLAY THAT NUMBER IN YOUR NUMBER BIB (FRONT AND BACK). 
  • PARKING: VEHICLES ARE TO PARK 5 METRES APART AND 2M SOCIAL DISTANCING GUIDELINES ADHERED TO.
  • ARRIVAL TIMES: PARTICIPANTS WILL BE ALLOWED TO ARRIVE 90 MINUTES BEFORE ALLOCATED SJ TIME DURING WHICH YOU SHOULD – WALK THE XC COURSE, RETURN TO YOUR VEHICLE AND GET READY FOR SJ – PER YOUR ALLOCATED TIME.
  • ONCE YOU HAVE COMPLETED THE XC – PLEASE LEAVE IMMEDIATELY – TO MAKE WAY FOR THE NEXT GROUP OF COMPETITORS. THANK YOU. 

HEALTH & SAFETY:

  • BE SAFE. ADHERE TO OUR GUIDELINES. CONSIDER OTHER PEOPLE. 
  • PLEASE USE HAND SANITISERS AS PROVIDED IN VARIOUS LOCATIONS .
  • WHEN USING WASHING/TOILET FACILITIES PLEASE USE SANITISERS, MAINTAIN SOCIAL DISTANCING – AND ONLY 2 PEOPLE SHD ENTER AT ANY ONE TIME.
  • THERE WILL BE NO CATERING FACILITIES AND NO ACCESS TO OUR STABLE YARD.
  • THE OFFICE WILL BE CLOSED BUT OUR STAFF ARE AVAILABLE TO ASSIST YOU AS NECESSARY. PLS MAINTAIN A SAFE DISTANCE AT ALL TIMES.
