Course Aims

Colic is a term used to describe a symptom of abdominal (belly) pain, there are over 70 different types of intestinal problems that cause colic symptoms, which range from mild to severe (life-threatening) in nature.
In this level 3 training, you will learn how to recognise the different types of colic, how you can assist when they occur and how to avoid through better management practices and optimum gut health.
This is one of our most informative courses for anyone involved with horses.
Equine gut health is an integral part of this training.
